I got the same letter and it's just a scam trying to trick you into giving your money away. Don't ever ring them back, it's definitely a con. HMRC doesn't operate like that at all.

What a load of rubbish! I received a letter from Bluestone claiming that I owe money to HMRC. So, I took the initiative to call HMRC directly using their official number from the government’s website. Turns out, I don’t owe a thing! It’s just a scammer pretending to be from Bluestone. Honestly, it’s best to just disregard it altogether!

Just received a voicemail purporting to be from HMRC, stating that there's an arrest warrant out for me-what a laugh! It's obviously a scam.

Got a letter dated 22 November 2021, supposedly from 'Bluestone Credit Management', mentioning this phone number. It claimed that a minor HMRC payment I'd missed was now with some collection agency. The strange thing is, HMRC never told me anything about it and the number wasn't on the official letterhead, just scribbled in the body of the letter. Seems like a dodgy scam to me.
