I got the same letter and it's just a scam trying to trick you into giving your money away. Don't ever ring them back, it's definitely a con. HMRC doesn't operate like that at all.

Beware! Got a letter from Bluestone claiming I owe money to HMRC. I rang HMRC directly (using their official website number) and they confirmed I don’t owe a penny. Turns out it’s just some scammer pretending to be from Bluestone. Complete rubbish, just ignore it.

Got a call from some recorded message saying HMRC had put a warrant out for me arrest, like yeah right. Total scam without a doubt.

Got a letter dated 22 November 2021, supposedly from 'Bluestone Credit Management', mentioning this phone number. It claimed that a minor HMRC payment I'd missed was now with some collection agency. The strange thing is, HMRC never told me anything about it and the number wasn't on the official letterhead, just scribbled in the body of the letter. Seems like a dodgy scam to me.
