Once we made it clear that we were his partner, she claimed the line was poor and promised to return the call, but then abruptly ended the conversation. I tried 1471 afterwards, but all I got was an automated response with no useful info. What a bother!

Received a call from this lot earlier on. The woman claimed to be affiliated with moneyextra.com. I didn’t give her the opportunity to fully explain her purpose! After doing a bit of digging on their website, it’s clear that they have a rather stringent policy regarding confidential information. I've shot off a complaint via email and I'll be waiting to hear back from them. Something tells me this call was dodgy and they might not be who they say they are!

A chap called us from a company called National Money Saver. She mentioned that her business is linked to another one with a similar name, although we couldn’t quite catch what it was. To be honest, we’re a bit unclear about what she was actually trying to sell, as she didn’t have the chance to explain properly. Just earlier today, we received a call from this number. A rather posh sounding lady was on the line, claiming to be from a research firm conducting a survey. We’re quite on guard since we’re ex-directory and our number is blocked through IPS. We take our privacy extremely seriously. It’s baffling how they’ve acquired our number. It leads us to believe they may have some dodgy database of phone numbers and are cross-referencing these with names for their own gain. Regrettably, we ended up confirming our name during the conversation. What a daft mistake! Lesson learned: never divulge any information to a stranger on the phone.

Honestly, it's about time the government stepped up and took action against these blasted individuals. No one ought to be permitted to pester you this incessantly for their fishy little enterprises. If they approached you in person with such nonsense, they'd likely get a swift reprimand. These gutless wonders just hide behind their telephones. They tried to ring me again, but hung up just as I managed to reach for the device. I’m expecting an important call and I really don’t fancy the constant dashing to answer, being a pensioner and all; it's starting to wear me down. It strikes me as rather suspicious, possibly a tactic for unsolicited calls to ascertain who picks up, turning it into a viable number for telemarketers to peddle their wares.
