Somebody rang saying they were from Hello Magazine and wanted to speak to my missus. I told them she passed away in April (which is true) and said they ought to be ashamed, whoever they are, then told them to piss off. I've blocked the number now.

This is a marketing firm representing multiple businesses. I first looked up them on Facebook. I phoned a number on their page, but it turned out to be incorrect. After calling again, I was finally given this number 01142780555 option 7. I told them I've been getting calls from that line. They asked for my phone number and found out which company was contacting me. I requested them to remove my number from their calling list. I wasted about 15 minutes doing all this. I keep getting calls nearly every day, usually from Worldpay, but now the caller ID shows 'Retail Merchant Services.' A woman named Becky called asking for the business owner. Then she just ended the call.

What a pain, total scammers! I’ve gone ahead and blocked them already!

Saw I had a missed call from this number, so I looked it up here and turns out it’s just another annoying telemarketer. Blocked it straight away.

I reckon there’s a couple ways to get even with these calls. One, just pick up and let it ring out without saying anything - it ends up biting them in the wallet. Or just ignore it completely and don’t bother at all. Either way, they lose something.

Well, they switched things up today for sure! Rang me asking straight for my manager by name, so I said he wasn’t around. Next, she launched into some spiel about card machines, and I told her I’d already signed with a different provider. But she wouldn’t quit! Then tried pushing business loans on me. I had to tell her to quit wasting my time because I’d never trust some stranger’s offers over the phone. Honestly, it’s exhausting dealing with these scam calls every single day - so over it :(

They told me it was about payment terms for our company. From the way they call using all sorts of different approaches, I reckon they’re just scammers trying a bunch of different tricks.

I received a call from this number that I unfortunately missed. I've looked into it, blocked it, and flagged it as spam. Interestingly, and like someone else mentioned, I too have had dealings with Adrian Flux Motor Insurance Brokers in the past.
