They swiftly informed me that hackers had allegedly taken over my internet connection. The individual insisted they needed to remotely access my computer to rectify the situation. When I probed further about their identity, they merely reiterated the so-called issue. I asked for clarification once more on who I was speaking to, and they insisted they were from my internet service provider. That raised a few alarms for me. I demanded they prove their legitimacy, and before I knew it, they hung up. This feels like a dubious and potentially illegal effort to gain access to my computer. I urge everyone to stay vigilant!
