Yesterday afternoon I got a call from a number I didn’t recognise, and the person on the other end started asking about a car accident I supposedly had recently. Thing is, I haven’t been in any accident at all. I just told them yeah, I had one, and when they asked when, I said they should already know since they’re calling about it. They quickly cottoned on I was taking the mick and just hung up. Honestly, don’t pick up calls from strangers - it’s just a pain and could be risky!

Got a call from someone who sounded like a robot asking if I’d been in an accident. When I asked for more details, another guy came on the line, also sounding very robotic and just reading from a script. After I questioned him again, he got quite rude and said he’d already told me what I wanted. I told him I hadn’t had any accident, and as I asked him to stop calling, he just hung up on me.
