Got a recorded message asking for my personal details, looked like total spam to me.

Got a call earlier today from this number claiming they were with BT and said there was a security issue with my phone. Seemed a bit dodgy to me, so I just ended the call.

Got a call from someone claiming to be BT, saying they’d been doing some work nearby and found a security issue with our phone line. They didn't bother to check who the bill payer was. BT have never contacted me from such a number before. I ended the call straight away. If it was legit, surely they’d have tried to get back to me or send an email? The caller was actually from the far end of the country, so it made no sense that they’d be handling anything local here. Felt really dodgy, so I just blocked the number.
