Every time I answer their calls, they hang up immediately. It’s quite unsettling, really, as I have no idea who they are. They've contacted me once before and actually mentioned my name. I find this behaviour quite disturbing and reminiscent of harassment.

I received a call to check my eligibility for a uniform rebate. Unfortunately, I wasn't eligible in the end. To be honest, the whole thing seemed above board. They didn't guarantee me a refund, and quite clearly stated they weren't affiliated with HMRC at all. Caller ID: ??

I filled out a tax form and rang to double check the information.

I got a request to leave a review on Google and it brought me here. This lot are like accountants who sort all your tax stuff and you end up getting a refund from HMRC. I managed to get £387 back yesterday for my uniform and union fees. Was a bit iffy at first, like with my PPI claim, but now I'm well chuffed!

Didn’t really see that call coming, it was some tax people offering to sort out my uniform tax rebate. I’ve seen on Facebook that other firms charge for this sort of thing. I told them I’d try and handle it myself, and they actually explained how to get it done online. I’m gonna give it a go first and see if it’s simple enough.

Picked up a call from someone claiming to be HMRC, which I've heard about loads before so knew it was dodgy. I pressed 1 just out of curiosity to see what would happen. A really rude and pushy Asian woman answered and hung up straight away when I asked her what she wanted. Pretty clearly one of those usual HMRC scams. Honestly, dunno why I even bothered trying to find out!

Decided to call back to find out who was ringing, but it went straight to a voicemail saying “your call is important to us, please hold” without saying what company it was.
