I've been receiving calls from individuals claiming to represent Virgin Internet. They're quite bothersome, constantly probing for personal information. They insist that my computer requires troubleshooting due to some errors. What's curious is that the number seemed local, as I noticed the area code before I answered the call. However, upon checking, I found no record of it on my landline's missed calls. To top it off, this same number has been persistently contacting me on my mobile as well.

This phone number isn’t a typical UK landline, and the person who’s meant to have it has no idea about any calls going out from it. Seems pretty dodgy and could be risky. Best thing is to just give it a miss.
