Received a call earlier today from someone claiming to be from 1st Call, and they appeared to have all my personal information! It’s quite alarming where these con artists are sourcing my details from. Utter scammers, if you ask me!

I recently encountered a rather dubious character posing as “1st Call” from Southport, supposedly handling claims for personal injuries related to car accidents. A quick search revealed that the only business by that name in Southport is actually a security company! They’ve requested some suspicious information from me, such as my passport, driving license, and national insurance number, all in the name of processing a compensation claim for an accident I had back in 2015. Quite concerning, if you ask me!

They seemed to believe I had encountered some sort of bump in the road, which, I must stress, is entirely untrue. What’s more alarming is that they addressed me by my name, which raised a few eyebrows. When I informed them that no such incident had occurred, they abruptly ended the call. I've attempted to ring them back for clarification, but there hasn't been a peep on the other end. Quite baffling, really!
