I received a call purporting to be regarding a string of suspicious charges on my Visa linked to China. I highly advise you to block these scammers with foreign accents! The recorded message they left is nothing but rubbish! Whatever you do, don’t divulge your banking details!

This number has called me quite a few times. The bloke on the other end actually knows my name, but I have no idea who he is. He’s been ringing from various numbers, which I’m jotting down here. Most calls come in the afternoon, though once or twice it was a Saturday. The voice sounds familiar, so I just put the phone down straight away. It leaves me feeling uneasy, and I don’t appreciate it. I reckon he’s figured out how to spoof the numbers.

Got a call on 24th October 2019 at about 6:45 pm. I said hello but there was just silence, then the call dropped straight away.

I got two calls from this number yesterday, one in the morning around 9.50 and another later in the evening, about 6.30. The first time, there was just silence on the line for a bit, which made me think it was some sort of automatic dialling from a call centre. Then a woman with an Asian accent came on, asking for me by name. I just hung up after that.

I just don’t pick up calls from unknown numbers anymore. If it’s important, they’ll leave a message, right? Blocking doesn’t help much anyway because the next time, they just call from another number. It’s pretty risky dealing with this stuff.

This number keeps popping up and every time it rings, it’s some sort of scam or phishing attempt. Even though it shows up as a Leeds number, I reckon they’re actually calling from abroad. Definitely dodgy, don’t bother answering.

Got a call from some lot using the Leeds area code, but sounding Asian. They were asking for a Karen Cox. Told them they got the wrong person, and then they cheekily asked why I was there and if I could chat. I said no and gave ’em a piece of my mind. Let’s hope they stop calling me now.

This number called me, but I just ignored it since I didn’t know who it was. Thankfully, my phone flagged it as possibly a scam, so I didn’t even have to think twice and I blocked it immediately. These days, phones really are getting cleverer!

For the past week, I keep getting calls at the exact same time every night. I've not picked up once 'cause I'm usually out working during the day, so by the time they call I'm busy or asleep. Quite annoying!

This number looked familiar to me. When I picked up, there was this weird sound, dunno what it was exactly, just lasted a second or two then nothing. These calls come nearly every day at the same time. Every time it’s something dodgy, can’t trust any of them. The number calling me changes every time, naturally. I’m gonna block this one too, no doubt. I’ve contacted Ofcom’s investigation team and they’re monitoring the situation now, hoping they can catch the idiot behind all this.

Just so u know, it’s a new shopping site kinda like IKEA where you can sell furniture. I joined their website and got calls twice today. When I called back, some foreign woman answered but it was an answering machine. The calls weren’t about the stuff for sale or anything related, something completely different. So I’ve put my phone on block for that number, it only started buzzing today, on 18/09/2019.

Got a call with an automated voice saying £600 was spent on my Visa card in China. I didn’t hang around and just blocked the number right then.

Some lady rang me with a strong foreign accent, claiming to be from KBDSA Planning about some Save scheme. When I asked how she found our number, she said they just cold call numbers not on the Telephone Preference Service. Since ours is on the register, she kindly offered to take it off their list. She seemed quite nice, but the company itself sounds dodgy to me.

I got a call from someone trying to talk about energy savings and usage without having a clue about who I was. They wanted me to say the person they were after, then asked me to confirm my own name and postcode. When I pressed them on what company they were from and where it was located, they quickly hung up rather than answer. They also couldn't give me their phone number or website, saying they weren’t trained to provide that info. The voice sounded like it might’ve been from the Philippines. The number was 01138805285.
