Reports on phone number 01138689303
2 yearsI got a few calls today and they just kept ringing forever like they really wanted me to pick up.2 yearsScam, pure and simple.2 yearsThey kept ringing non stop about cheap gas and electricity deals, even after I told them we’d just agreed a contract with another company. Kept pushing to find out who we’d signed up with. Proper relentless they were.2 yearsGot called by some bloke with terrible English twice. The first time I just told him to jog on, but the second time I warned I'd report the number for pestering me.2 yearsTheir English was pretty poor and they didn’t seem to have a clue what the call was about, just kept going on about ‘energy’ or something like that.2 yearsCalled again after just 10 minutes and ended the call as soon as I guess they figured they’d already rung me.2 yearsNot sure why they rang me, but they kept going, asking when the boss would be around and if there were any other numbers to contact them on.2 yearsGot a call from someone pretending to be the electric company saying they need to fit a new meter because ours is supposedly faulty and charging us too much. Total scam, don’t fall for it! Absolute muppets!2 yearsI didn’t answer since the number was unfamiliar to me.2 yearsYet another junk call ringing through, and honestly, I'm just gonna give it a miss.2 yearsThey rang me a few times, like three times if I recall, claiming they were from O2 with some kind of 30-40% discount deal. But then they wanted me to prove that I was actually an O2 customer by telling them my bill amount, which I didn't do. I told them if they’re really from O2, they should already have that info, but they insisted they were part of some special promo team at O2. Seemed dodgy to me.2 yearsOver the last couple of days, I got three calls from the same number, but my phone warned me it might be a scam, so I ignored them. Eventually, on the third try, I answered because I was a bit fed up with the constant ringing. A woman with a strong accent said she was from O2. I kinda blanked on the fact that O2 has merged with Virgin Media, which is who I get my internet and phone from, so I just ended the call, assuming it was dodgy. They haven’t tried ringing again yet, so I’m still not sure if it was actually O2 or just some scam.Virgin MediaSubmit Your Own Report (0113 868 9303)
