I can confirm that these people don’t follow TPS rules as they rang our ex-directory number, which is actually registered with the TPS. Honestly, it’s a bad idea to pick up if they call. If you do by mistake, just end the call straight away and NEVER give out or verify any personal info with them!

Got a call from someone claiming to be Jo, an energy consultant, telling me the loft insulation they used isn’t up to standard anymore. When I asked for more details about her and the company she worked for, she just ended the call. The way she spoke sounded super robotic, like a voice bot was doing the talking. Feels really dodgy to me - could be one of those voice machines, so watch out!

Got a ring from this number not long ago. Some bloke claiming to be from a company doing resin driveways, saying they wanted houses to feature in their catalogue. When he asked how old my driveway was, I just said it’s as old as the house itself. He kept going on, so I asked if they were offering to do it without charging me.
