Got a call supposedly from the National Lottery saying if I gave them my card info I’d receive ten free tickets for every ticket I buy each week. Sounded a bit dodgy to me.

Today, I got three calls supposedly from the Lotto. They said I’d won 10 free entries for the Wednesday draw and also offered a chance to join a special competition for £6pm, which would put me in 250 draws to boost my odds of winning. Didn't buy it, so I blocked the number straight away.

Got three calls from this bloke today, he was trying to sell me 200 tickets every month for three months for £12 a month, saying it was for Euro Millions and the weekly lotto. Asked me for my bank info straight off. When I brought up the upcoming changes to the National Lottery, he didn’t seem to know anything about it. Definitely felt like a proper con.

Somebody rang me up sayin they won the National Lottery and was pushin me to join some sorta new plan that would cost about £62 a month. I told the bloke to send over an email about it and I’d get back to him once I’d checked it out. Even though he was proper persistent, I stuck to my guns and eventually he gave up.

Got a call from an unknown number and didn’t bother to answer since I didn’t know who it was. It rang about six times and then stopped, but I’m pretty sure they’ll try again. I looked up the number on this app and saw it’s flagged as a likely scam. The name Voxbone seems familiar though - they’ve called me and my missus before, using a couple of different numbers. No way I’m picking up next time.

I keep getting calls from the number +44 113 868 8913 over the past few days, and it’s definitely a scam. The line seems to be connected to Leeds, but it’s probably one of those numbers that’s fake or generated. I would’ve thought BT could shut these numbers down, but it looks like these robocallers are clever - they get hold of these numbers in bulk, maybe from overseas like China, which makes it tricky for BT to track them. It’s proper frustrating how they get away with it!
