I got one of those automated calls claiming to be from HMRC, saying my National Insurance and bank account were about to be frozen because they suspected tax fraud. They told me to call back straight away on the number they gave or I’d end up with a warrant for my arrest. Sounds proper official but it's obviously a load of rubbish - still, I can see how someone might easily fall for it if they weren’t careful.
