They claimed to be from HMRC, but it was obvious it was a scam. Definitely not the real HMRC, just another dodgy call trying to trick you.

I just got a call saying there’s been £350 spent fraudulently on my Amazon Prime account. They told me to press 2 if I want to speak with Amazon’s fraud department. Yeah, no thanks, that’s not happening.

I don’t even have an Amazon Prime subscription, so there’s no way that call was legit - it’s definitely a scam.
