Picked up thinking it was from Leeds, since I deal with a few firms around there, didn’t really think it was a random sales call. Turned out to be some insurance scam - they said I’d reported a minor crash, went mad when I told them I haven’t been behind the wheel in ages. Ended the call and blocked the number straight away.

If I don’t know the number or who’s ringing, I just ignore it. I usually look up the number on Google first and then decide if I wanna call back or just block it. So far, I’ve never bothered returning a call to any of these annoying cold callers! My blocked numbers list just keeps on growing!

I finally picked up after thinking twice, and the woman on the line actually called me by my name. There was loads of noise in the back, sounded like a bunch of people all doing this scam together.
