In response, he oddly asked why I didn’t just delete my so-called account. When I inquired how one might go about that, his attempt to manipulate me into signing up for what seemed like a heap of questionable spam and scams was quite distressing, as he directed me to unsubscribeme.com. I pointed out that the site appeared to be up for sale at the time, despite sporting a signup form requesting my full name and email address-which, to be clear, gave the impression it was aimed at potential buyers. He then insisted that the legitimate site was actually unsubscribeme.eu, not .com. Upon checking this claim, I found that the website was non-existent, to which he let out a laugh and abruptly hung up, exclaiming, "Take it, you git!"
