got a call from someone called james at consumer lifestyles, he said "can i ask you a few questions, sir" then asked me to send money, seemed fishy to me.

Supposedly I gave my number for some survey, but that's a load of rubbish, I never shared it anywhere! I told them I wasn't interested and asked them to delete my info, but they just kept talking over me non stop.

guy spoke with a heavy accent. insisted i verify my info before saying why he called. when i said no, he claimed it was about my family’s shopping habits. i asked why he needed that info and he just cut the call while i was still talking

Could hardly catch what this woman was sayin, she had a heavy accent. Ringing me at tea time is just rude beyond belief. I told 'em I'm not interested, then hung up and blocked the number. No use askin where they got my details from - they'll just hang up or lie straight away. There should be a law making them tell you where they got your number from.

Got a call from jasper claiming to be from a consumer survey firm. He said i had to finish their survey before they’d take my number off their list. I asked to talk to a manager but he said they were all in a meeting. Then he just ended the call when i refused to do the survey. Definitely spam and borderline harassment, i’ve blocked the number now.

Got a call from a woman speaking with an accent, asking for me using my maiden name. Told her she had dialled the wrong number. She wanted me to provide info so she could change the listing but I said no. Asked her nicely to take me off her calling list but she wouldn't do it. Said it was a consumer survey or something. Ended up hanging up and blocked the number right away.

The bloke on the phone spoke proper English and immediately said he was from Casumo casino, which I reckon is registered in Malta mostly for tax stuff. Even if the number shows up as Leeds, chances are you’re actually chatting with a call centre based in Malta.

I received a call that I didn't catch, so I tried ringing back only to be met with a recorded message in a language I couldn't understand. Quite puzzling!

had no clue who was calling, got two rings around 2pm but no voicemail. tried calling back since it showed a leeds code (so not a premium rate), but just got an automated reply. number's from sonetel (some global phone service), and seems like it’s not linked to a real person, pretty sure it’s a scam with number spoofing.
