So, I got a call from 01137626028 saying they were from Domestic & General insurance. They claimed because of Covid-19, I’d get a discount on my insurance. Then they asked me for my card details to switch the direct debit. I told them if they were legit, they’d already have my info. They got a bit rude and started going on about data protection stuff. I told them to send everything in writing, but they said that would take too long. I said I didn’t mind waiting and then ended the call. After that, I rang Domestic & General myself and they said it was definitely a scam.

Picked up the call and immediately cut it off - then blocked the number straight away.

Someone rang up about life insurance, but as soon as they realised my job involves risky travel, they got all apologetic and said they couldn’t cover me. I couldn’t help but laugh and play along with them - it was quite entertaining!

They keep ringing me nonstop, got no clue who they might be. Sounds like typical dodgy sales lot to me. Best to steer clear and just block the number straight away, if you ask me.

Got a call from some firm I couldn’t quite catch the name of, saying I supposedly have a life insurance plan with Legal & General. Thing is, I don’t have any life insurance at all, with any company. Feels a bit dodgy, especially since they rang me two days running.
