Getting calls from a Leeds number daily now. When I pick up, no one talks but I can hear background sounds like a call centre. Sometimes they just hang up right after I say hello. Ive blocked the number loads of times but they keep using slightly different ones each time. It’s like a never ending cycle. I’ve reported them as nuisance calls many times already.

Got a call from someone with an Indian accent, sounded like they were in a hectic call centre. They wanted to know if I was self-isolating because of coronavirus, so I just ended the call.

Got a call from someone claiming to be with Nationwide Renewables, kept saying he wanted to talk about solar panels. I told him like 8 times I wasn’t interested but he just kept pushing for a response. Ended up having to hang up to stop the call. Proper annoying.

After looking into it a bit, I found out the company is called Nationwide Renewables from Batley. They've been around since 2016 and there's a bit about them on Companies House, but no real financial records, which tells you a lot about their credibility. They’re pushing solar panels and stuff, claiming there’s “government grants” backing it up. I asked which grants exactly, and they said they got my number from the national grid. Total nonsense if you ask me.

Got a call saying they were from some green energy programme about saving cash through a government solar panel scheme, but you had to qualify or something. They asked me loads of questions, I only answered a few, then it all started sounding dodgy so I was ready to end it. Suddenly, the bloke accused me of just using my husband as an excuse to get off the phone, and made some rude comments about how I chat with my husband. That was the last straw, so I just hung up. Honestly, best thing to do is just ignore calls from this number and block it straight away.
