When I'm feeling a bit cheeky, I actually enjoy these unsolicited calls. I often play along and keep them talking. There's an endless stream of those pesky PPI and insurance calls promising to save me a fortune, yet they always insist on upfront payments-rather ironic, isn’t it? I like to throw them off by inquiring how they obtained my number; it tends to catch them off guard. Then I’ll ask them for my name-it's entertaining to see them squirm in confusion. And if I prod a little further and ask for my address, they haven't got a clue! Occasionally, I might even tell them I operate a pyramid scheme and wonder if they’d like to get in on it. At that point, they usually cut the line rather quickly!

I've been receiving a slew of calls that always seem to disconnect before I can pick up. However, today was a different story - someone actually responded and claimed they were from Pruhealth. When I mentioned that they were contacting a number registered with the TPS, he started mumbling about having a record of some interest. When I requested the number he was calling from, he abruptly ended the call. I wouldn’t recommend dialling this number back, as it might be linked to a premium rate service. Stay alert!
