Reports on phone number 01138560236
1 yearThis morning, I got calls from a couple of different numbers - I think three in total - and they somehow knew my old email, which I haven't touched in over a decade. They were really persistent, trying to get me to sign up for a new contract with the latest iPhone and free AirPods. It sounded quite believable at first, but I was definitely suspicious.1 yearGot a call from a guy called Sam Karim, who said he was from EE. He was an Asian bloke, and honestly, I've never given out any personal info but somehow he knew all my details - account numbers, the exact amount I pay on my phone bill, everything! After the call I immediately got in touch with EE. Turns out, this bloke had tried to order a Samsung S25 Edge on my account. Thankfully, EE managed to cancel the order and put a fraud alert on my account. I've also contacted my bank and the police, who are now working with the fraud team. Just a heads up to everyone, watch out for these scams!Sam KarimEESamsung1 yearGot a call from someone with an Asian accent claiming to be with 3.1 yearGot a call from some scammer pushing a dodgy phone contract. Just blocked the number and reported it straight away.1 yearSomebody rang me saying they were from my phone company, offering a discount since apparently I've been a customer for some time. They then asked what my current bill was. I told them that if they really worked for the company, they’d already have that info, and then I just hung up.1 yearI got a call saying it was from Three, something about being a loyal customer and getting a special deal for paying bills on time. Turns out, it’s not really Three at all, just some dodgy call centre from abroad trying to scam people. Stay careful folks!Three1 yearGot a missed call from a Leeds area code about 2pm today. Since I don't have any contacts up in Yorkshire, I'm pretty sure it's just another scam.LeedsYorkshire1 yearI got a call that only rang one time before cutting off, so I didn’t pick up. Feels like one of those typical scam calls, so I won’t bother returning it and have just blocked the number.Submit Your Own Report (0113 856 0236)
