They’ve rung me about 5 times in just 3 days and I’ve not picked up once. I wouldn’t recommend answering, feels a bit dodgy to me when someone’s that pushy.

It’s likely to be MMF - a dodgy outfit run by former inmates. They tend to scoop up debts at a mere 10% of their actual worth and then will hound you for the full amount, plus a bit on top for good measure.

It’s anyone's guess whether you were their target to begin with. They’re quite the bunch of unhinged risk-takers. Best thing you can do is steer clear of their antics and simply disregard them.

Just give the blighters the cold shoulder. They’re not worth your time, especially since they were gulling you from the start. According to the law, any debt they've purchased is no longer valid as per the original agreement. If you refuse to settle with MMF, their efforts are all in vain. That’s the way it is.

Just ignore the blighters.

They called me two times while I was away on holiday! When I picked up, it sounded like I was the one calling them! Then I got an answerphone for some Barry and John or something??? I’ve blocked the number now.

Received a rather abrupt call requesting me to partake in a survey. There was no mention of a company name, and the individual on the line sounded rather off-putting. I've since blocked the number.

This phone rings come from a call centre inside a prison in Leeds. They’re ringing about stuff like accident claims, insurance offers and surveys, all done by prisoners with the government’s approval. Up to you if you wanna share your info with them or not, but I personally said no.
