So my other half picked up the call first, and I could overhear him giving out all sorts of personal stuff. The bloke on the line claimed to be from our electricity supplier and said we were about to get our power cut off unless we paid up quick. I grabbed the phone off him and ended the call immediately. We're quite old and these kind of calls really freak us out. I rang our energy company afterwards and they told me to report the incident straight away. These scammers are just horrible, taking advantage of people like us.
