Got a call from someone claiming to be from an insurance firm looking for a Julie. I’ve been getting calls from a few numbers like this lately. When I asked them to take me off their calling list, the person on the other end just said they’d never called me before and then hung up immediately. Tried ringing back to warn them I’d report it as harassment and nuisance calls, but no chance of getting through - didn’t pick up at all.

I received a call from an individual masquerading as an insurance company, specifically looking for someone named Julie. I've encountered several similar dodgy numbers lately. When I insisted they erase my details from their records, the chap claimed they'd never contacted me before and promptly ended the call. I tried ringing them back to warn them about reporting their behaviour as a nuisance and harassment, but amusingly, they chose not to pick up the phone.

I just ignored the call and they didn’t leave any voicemail or message.

A chap claiming to be Mr Morgan from Legal and General got in touch, saying I could qualify for a cut in my life insurance payments. When I suggested he go ahead and lower my direct debit, he abruptly ended the call. Quite suspicious, if you ask me!

I got a call from someone about Legal & General life insurance. They asked if I’d already got a policy with them, I told them I hadn’t, and then they just ended the call.
