Phone number ☎️ 01138340295 👆 is reported as a nuisance scam involving unsolicited calls from individuals with strong Asian accents, falsely claiming affiliation with firms like the "Accident Advice Bureau." Callers pretend to offer compensation claims for car accidents, often referencing specific personal details such as the recipient’s name and vehicle, purportedly obtained from marketing sources. When questioned, they tend to hang up abruptly or fail to provide verifiable information about their organisation. Some calls originate from poor-quality internet lines, potentially using spoofed local numbers to appear legitimate. Recipients are advised to treat these calls with caution, avoid sharing personal information, and refrain from responding to such solicitations, as they are likely fraudulent and aimed at misleading or harvesting data.

3 yearsI answered the call, but the line went silent almost instantly.3 yearsI received a call from a gentleman who had a bit of an Indian lilt in his voice, asserting that he was representing the Accident Advice Bureau. He went on to say that he'd be sending me some paperwork for a compensation claim related to a car accident I supposedly experienced, mentioning I could expect a payout of somewhere between two and a half to three grand. Strangely, he seemed to have my name and the model of my vehicle at hand. When I inquired about how he obtained my information, he replied vaguely with “various marketing sources.” Upon expressing my lack of interest and requesting to be taken off his contact lists, he abruptly terminated the call.Accident Advice Bureau3 yearsI got a call from a bloke who sounded like he had an Indian accent, saying he was from Accident Advice Bureau - but I looked them up on Companies House and no such company popped up. He said he’d send me some paperwork to claim compensation for a car crash, claiming it could be between £2,500 and £3,000. He already knew my name and the car I drive. When I asked where he got my details, he mumbled something about “various marketing sources.” I also asked if he was linked to my insurer, and he denied it. Once I told him I wasn’t interested, he just hung up on me.Accident Advice BureauCompanies House3 yearsGot a call from someone with a strong Indian accent, sounded like a dodgy internet call, maybe a spoofed number. They asked me if I’d been in any crashes over the last five years. The caller used a fake name that I’d actually made up ages ago just to catch scammers, so I’m pretty sure it’s the same lot using that old list. As soon as I refused to give my car registration, they just hung up straight away. Typical scammy behaviour.3 yearsGot a call about some house repairs, but the person had a really thick foreign accent and wouldn’t say which council they are with. Bit dodgy if you ask me. Definitely think it’s a scam, so I wouldn’t pick up if I were you!3 yearsGot a call from a woman who started going on and on, kept throwing around the word ‘solutions’. I cut her off and asked her who she was, then she just hung up on me.3 yearsI got a call from someone with a really strong Asian accent, and I didn’t recognise the number at all. It looked like it was from nearby, so I almost got caught out. But something felt off, so I just said I was busy and ended the call. Seemed like a spammer to me.Submit Your Own Report (0113 834 0295)
