7 yearsI got a ring from a really nice woman who told me about a boiler upgrade deal. They offered me a free check-up and the guy who came was super friendly, didn’t pressure me at all. We mostly chatted about our kids, which was quite nice. After the check, it turns out I’m getting a new boiler fitted this Friday 28th and it’s actually gonna save me some cash. Would definitely suggest giving them a go.7 yearsI got a call the other day where the person just kept going "ahhhhhhh" - seriously, just that sound over and over, no proper greeting like "hello sir" or anything else. They said something about a parrot once answering and getting unfair treatment or some daft reason like that. Then the caller weirdly insisted it was “good morning” even though it was well into the afternoon! After that odd bit, they suddenly brought up some car accident of mine, then just switched back to the endless "ahhhhhhhh". It was all very strange. Who are these folks even?7 yearsJust like those stories mentioned earlier, a fake company contacted me trying to grab a claim. Watch out, they can end up taking way too much from what you rightfully deserve.7 yearsGot a call from someone I didn’t recognise. They said they were following up to confirm my insurer had dealt with a claim, then mentioned another driver involved in the accident was filing a low impact injury claim and asked if I wanted to do the same. They even got the other driver’s name, car model and number plate right. It wasn’t until I talked to my insurance company later that I started thinking it might’ve been a dodgy cold call or scam.7 yearsThey called saying they knew about my crash and that the other driver had admitted fault. They mentioned I was entitled to some compensation for the hassle and stress. I told them no one got hurt and I wasn't interested in chasing it up. After that, they just ended the call.7 yearsI've just had a bizarre call from some outfit called 1 PodyLoversigttt or something like that, saying they're linked to some body/oversight firm. They mentioned something about maintaining insurance and a base, but honestly, who’s actually sharing our info with these jokers? I definitely never agreed to any of this. I asked the woman on the line if they were part of the government or a legit business and how exactly they earn their cash. Tried to look them up online - nothing comes up at all. Feels like a total scam to me. Dodgy data grab, without a doubt.7 yearsSomeone rang me claiming to be from traffic accident help or something like that. When I asked why they were calling, they said it was to inform me about my rights because apparently I wasn’t to blame for a recent crash I was involved in. They had details about the accident which seemed odd and I'm pretty sure they’re trying to trick people. They even said they work with my insurance company but I’d never heard of them before. Anyway, I'd avoid this number completely.7 yearsSomebody called me up and seemed to know about a crash I’d been in, giving my name, the exact car I drove and the date it happened. They mentioned I was entitled to some injury cash from another insurance firm, but it all felt a bit fishy. I told the person to call me later, thinking they’d probably try and get my bank info to sort the payment out.7 yearsGot a call from 01138328432, they kept going on about how i’d been in an accident and surprisingly knew a few things about me. Totally put me off, felt like a proper scam. Quite annoyed with them.7 yearsa lady named donna rang me saying she was from some traffic accident support team. she claimed my details were on a national accident register or something. when i asked for more details, she started acting dodgy. then she told me to complain to the ombudsman but added that “they're way behind.” i just cut the call there.Donna7 yearsThere are some dodgy people pretending to help with insurance claims, but they're just after cash from innocent folks. Total scammers!7 yearsI had no clue who it was, so I just let the call go straight to voicemail.7 yearshad a call from jonathan at first response legal claiming to help with legal stuff, but they never asked me for permission to use my phone number which seems like a serious gdpr violation. when i questioned them, they just hung up on me. sounds like they're snooping around for info and making unsolicited calls. the number starts with 0113 so it's based in leeds, and judging by the fact this is the second ring i've had from this number in only two days, looks like it's a fresh line they've started using.JonathanLeeds7 yearsGot a call from some kind of commercial broker, but they were really dodgy about who they actually were. Didn’t get a straight answer at all. Feels a bit like those ambulance chasers to me. You should probly check where they got your info from because with GDPR and all, they have to have your consent. If they say it’s from an insurer, make sure to ask which one!7 yearsNot sure what that was about. I’ve got a car accident claim going on and the other driver said it was their fault, but this person called me with all my info and began chatting about seatbelt injuries and stuff. When I told her we hadn’t had any injuries at all, she just hung up. Sounds like some kind of ambulance chaser to me!7 yearsGot a call from this number but when I tried ringing back, it wouldn’t accept any incoming calls. Seems a bit dodgy to me.Submit Your Own Report (0113 832 8432)
