Got a call from a woman who said her name was Nicky McFarlane or something similar. She claimed she’d heard I’d been in an accident that wasn’t my fault (which isn’t true). I asked where she’d got that info from and what her company’s name and number were. She told me it was ‘Action Claims Bureau’ but hung up when I asked for more info. These annoying calls are getting right tiresome.

Got a robotic call that switched to a real person when I replied. Told them I’m registered with TPS and they had no right to ring me. Asked them to take me off their list and they just ended the call. Reported it to the ICO, you might want to do the same.

So, I answered the phone and, if it was an actual person and not just some robot, they stayed silent for like 10 seconds while I was saying "hello" a few times. Then all of a sudden I heard a "goodbye" that sounded totally prerecorded, and the call dropped. Honestly, whatever that was, it seemed like a total waste of time. Judging by what others have said here, it’s probably some sort of scam. They’re just hoping you call back or something - no way I’m getting caught up in that!
