Sorry for the late reply, but here’s what happened. The guy called me up with a plan to slash my phone and broadband bills down to £26.99 a month plus VAT. I kinda went along with it, throwing out some over-the-top answers just to see what he’d say next. Eventually I said the offer wasn’t any better than my current deal (which was a bit of a fib). That’s when he just ended the call.

Got a call from a lady with an Asian accent, she said her name was Anna. Asked if my telly was working and if I had a washing machine, said something about household stuff. If someone rings up saying they want to do a survey, make sure you ask if they belong to the Market Research Society - legit surveyors always are. If they aren’t members, or like one caller said, they just couldn’t be bothered, don’t answer any of their questions whatsoever.
