I got a call from someone claiming to be from housing about a property I supposedly rent. Thing is, I don’t rent any place, and I’m nowhere near Leeds where their number is registered. They had both my name and number, which felt a bit dodgy. As soon as I told them I don’t rent anything, I ended the call and asked how they even got my details. Feels like it might be some sort of scam trying to get money out of people.
