Got a missed call on the answer machine when we werent home. They didn’t say anything.

Looks like some call centre calling me loads of times from this number. When I pick up, there’s a weird pause before anyone talks, so I just end the call there. I reckon they ring loads of people at once and whoever answers first gets stuck. I’ve blocked the number now.

They claimed to be from some company with "Glass" in the title, but it sounded like they were phoning me from a car or something (I was waiting for a delivery from a well-known firm). I think they mentioned inspecting glass in windows, like double glazing or whatever. When the bloke called me "love," I just shot back with "Sorry, I don't know you and I'm not your love," then hung up after it went quiet on their end.

The caller didn’t say who he was, just jumped straight into a long spiel about energy waste, government schemes, and new windows.
