Does anyone know how to get these annoying calls to stop for good?

Got a call from someone looking for a person I’m not. When I told him I wasn’t the one, he suddenly wanted to know who I was! Then he went on about how he’s sure I’m the right person and asked if I didn’t like my own name or something. I had nothing to do with the person they were after!
