I'm pretty convinced they're linked to Homeserve somehow, maybe even someone who works there leaking our details to these boiler-room scammers. Just a hunch, but feels like too much of a coincidence.

It’s so annoying! They ring me like 3 or 4 times daily, always trying to get me to take some ‘survey.’ Blocking one number does nothing because they just use another one that’s almost the same. Such a hassle!

I received a call from this number asking for someone who clearly wasn't me. I tried to clarify that it was a mistake and expressed my desire to not be contacted again, but they cut me off mid-sentence and hung up. I blocked the number straight away, only to find they rang back with a slight variation at the end of the number. I blocked that one too, and once again, the same scenario played out. Does anyone know how I can get rid of these pesky callers for good?

I received a call from this chap who was all over the place, asking for someone else entirely. When I told him he had the wrong number, he was rather blunt, insisting on knowing who I was! Then he went on about how he was convinced I was that very person he was after and even questioned if I had a problem with my own name! It was utterly bewildering since I’m not the person he was looking for at all!
