I got a call on my landline, which hardly ever rings now, and when the answerphone picked up I just heard a woman speaking in a language I couldn’t understand at all. No clue who it was or what they wanted! It’s so unusual for this number to get calls these days, so it caught me off guard.

Was informed that I could receive a complimentary oil boiler. I expressed my scepticism, pointing out that nothing genuinely comes at no cost. Upon further investigation, it seems that eligibility is only for those on benefits, which we certainly aren’t.

I've received multiple calls from this number and answered on two occasions. The first time, the caller was quite foul-mouthed when I inquired about the purpose of their call. The second time, they were adamant about my needing a new gas boiler. Quite amusing, considering there's no gas supply in my area!

Received a call from this number earlier today, but all I heard was silence on the other end. However, the noise of a bustling call centre was unmistakable in the background. So, I thought I’d give them a taste of their own medicine with a cheeky blast from my trusty Acme Thunderer whistle! No one responded, but at least I can take comfort in knowing that I’ve likely left someone with a rather unpleasant ringing in their ears for a while. I’d recommend having a loud whistle handy by your phone for any future unsolicited calls!

I've been receiving two or three calls daily from this particular number, and each time it’s the same automated spiel about a gas boiler replacement. It’s been dragging on for weeks, which is quite bewildering considering there's no gas supply in my village! I’m really keen to put an end to these calls. Any suggestions on how I might be able to stop them?

I was quite shaken earlier today when I received a call from this number. As someone with disabilities and visual impairment, I try my best to communicate, but when I asked the woman to repeat herself, she responded with an utterly appalling expletive, telling me to “F--- off.” It left me feeling extremely upset. It’s heartbreaking to think that someone could be so rude, especially to anyone facing challenges like mine. I honestly don't think I want to answer the phone again after that experience. It's completely unnecessary to speak to anyone like that. I truly hope you can take measures to prevent this from happening to someone else in the future.

I received a call from someone with a really strong accent, claiming I’m eligible for some sort of government grant. I’ve just had a new boiler installed, have double glazing, and I’ve never been involved with PPI. My number is listed on the TPS already. I decided to end the call there!
