I picked up the phone and this young guy immediately asked for me using just my first name. It was pretty obvious he was sitting in some call centre. So I asked who exactly I was speaking to. He said his name was John and he was ringing from a building firm. When he asked how I was, I told him I was sick of getting calls from robots instead of real people. Then I questioned if he was actually a person or just another AI. He said sorry I felt that way and then just hung up on me! Needless to say, I blocked the number straight away!
