A woman called me saying she was from Go Compare, but had a really strong Bangladeshi accent. She actually knew my full name, which is weird because I’ve never signed up with them or shared my info anywhere. She kept insisting she wasn’t trying to sell anything but was just offering to help me get a better deal on my energy bills. When I told her I wasn’t interested, she kept cutting me off and wouldn’t accept my no. She got quite rude, so I just ended the call and blocked the number. Definitely felt like a dodgy scam to me.
