10 yearsGot a call from someone with a foreign accent saying I was owed a refund. When I asked what it was about, he mentioned a credit card I supposedly had back in 2008. I asked him to name the bank, but he just repeated it was the company I had the card with in 2008. After pressing for the actual bank name, he finally said Lloyds. I told him I've never had a Lloyds card, and then he rudely told me to “shut up” before hanging up on me.Lloyds10 yearsThe person sounded like they had an Asian accent and claimed I was owed a big sum of money. They even mentioned the name of my bank, when I got a loan, and when I had fully paid it off. They said I was due some amount for never missing a payment. I told them I’d call back once I’d confirmed it with my bank, but then suddenly the call just dropped.10 yearsHad a few calls from this number, rang back earlier today but couldnt get through to anyone.10 yearsOn the 7th of June, 2016, I got a call late in the day from a man with a strong accent. When I asked if he was based in the UK and asked who he was, he said he worked for some legal firm. I told him I’m already on the telephone preference list and demanded they take me off their records and stop phoning me. After that, he got quite rude and started threatening me, saying he'd keep ringing endlessly. I plan to report the number, but I couldn’t figure out the name of the company he claimed to be from.UKTelephone Preference Service10 yearsThere’s been a few calls lately from someone with a strong foreign accent, not really clear what they’re saying, but they keep asking for a Mrs H. problem is, she doesn’t even live here. We’ve had calls before about this same person, but since yesterday it’s made 3 times now: on the 6th of June at 2:38 and 4:49 pm, then again on the 7th at 11:36 in the morning. Tried ringing the missed number, which looks like a UK local one, but it’s always dead. Same with 01243262274. Honestly, these ones should be blocked or something, it’s getting annoying!HUK10 yearsHad this call from someone who pronounced my name funny with a thick accent. They started asking if I was receiving government life insurance payouts. Then they wanted details about my life insurance payments but when I told them my partner was in charge of all that, they just cut off the call.10 yearsThe guy sounded like he was from abroad. He kept asking how old my boiler was and if I was on benefits. When I told him it was brand new and refused to share any more info, he just ended the call.10 yearsThey called me saying they were from the “national refund department,” but when I told them that department doesn’t exist, they just ended the call.10 yearsThey kept mispronouncing my name which made me think they were from abroad. They asked if my postcode was correct, saying I had been given £300.
