Received a call purporting to be from Currys PC World, claiming they were providing an upgrade to my mobile contract. However, it was quite odd that they had no idea what phone I had recently bought or what my actual contract entailed. This number seems to be linked to a scam operation-steer clear of sharing any personal or financial information, and make sure to report it to Action Fraud!

Claiming to represent O2, the caller - who introduced himself as Alex - turned quite aggressive when I inquired about his identity. He abruptly ended the conversation only after I mentioned that I was recording our chat and intended to report the harassment to the authorities.
