*SCAM ALERT* So I got this text with a security alert and a one-time code right before some bloke rang saying he was from "O2" and trying to sell me 30% off. I didn’t give him the code and he just ended the call. Funny enough, a few weeks earlier, I had a similar call from another number that, when I looked it up, turned out to be connected to a pizza joint in London.

Got a call asking for my verification code, so I rang o2 to report it and blocked the number straight away.

Total scam! Someone was trying to grab my O2 verification code to get into my account. I’ve blocked the number and reported it straight away!
