I received a rather intrusive call from a lady in a particularly noisy call centre, who claimed to be with the "EE Promotions Department." She raved on about exclusive offers for upgrades, but when I mentioned that I've never had an account with EE, her response was rather lacking. When I pressed for where she had obtained my details, she couldn't provide a satisfactory answer. Interestingly, despite the Leeds area code, she had quite an Indian accent. My advice? Just disregard the call altogether. It’s certainly a scam or spam attempt.
