What a pathetic attempt at fishing for your personal information! They clearly can't be bothered to communicate in proper English, making it incredibly difficult to grasp what the seemingly middle-aged woman from India was saying. There was also a noticeable delay before she started speaking, accompanied by a racket resembling a TV or radio in the background, possibly kids making noise too. Everything about this screamed unprofessional scam. The number wasn't obscured and it popped up as 'Leeds' on my mobile. She attempted to represent herself as an employee of some garbled company name. I asked her to articulate her words clearly and to reduce the background din. After an awkward pause, she mumbled something again. I repeated my request for clarity, as her words were utterly incomprehensible. After that, she abruptly hung up. Thank heavens for that! I wouldn’t bother engaging with them unless you’re in the mood for a bit of a laugh or a prank.

They tried to convince me they were from my phone provider, but it was definitely a scam.

Had a call from someone who acted as if they were representing Three Network, but hung up abruptly the moment they figured out that I’m not a Three Mobile customer. Odd behaviour, really!

Got a call from a woman with an Indian accent claiming to be from Three. I’ve been with Three for over 15 years, so I know their calls always show up as 333, not some Leeds number like this one. She tried to convince me I qualified for a new phone promotion where I’d just pay postage. I called her out saying this was a scam, and after a pause she asked if I wanted the offer or not. I told her Three would never call from a landline or a Leeds number, and she just shrugged and hung up. Looks like a total con to me!

Got a call from 01135345947 on the 21st of Nov 2023 but didn’t pick up. Seems a bit dodgy, probably scammers. I’d say best to just ignore it.
