This was obviously just a dodgy attempt to fish for my info. The woman on the line, who sounded middle-aged and Indian, spoke so unclearly that I struggled to catch anything she said. There was a long silence before she started talking, with a lot of background noise like a TV or radio and maybe kids shouting. It all felt super dodgy and unprofessional. The phone number actually showed up on my phone as from "Leeds," so it wasn’t even hidden. She claimed to be calling from some company, but her words were so muddled I couldn’t tell what it was. I asked her nicely to speak up and turn down the noise behind her. After a few awkward moments of more mumbling, I told her again I couldn’t make out a thing, and just like that, she cut the call. Honestly, don’t waste your time chatting to these folks unless you want a good laugh or want to mess with them a bit.

They tried to convince me they were from my phone provider, but it was definitely a scam.

The number showed up as unknown on my phone, so I reckon it was just another spam call.

Someone claiming to be from Three called me, but when they figured out I wasn’t a Three Mobile customer, they just hung up straight away.

Got a call from a woman with an Indian accent claiming to be from Three. I’ve been with Three for over 15 years, so I know their calls always show up as 333, not some Leeds number like this one. She tried to convince me I qualified for a new phone promotion where I’d just pay postage. I called her out saying this was a scam, and after a pause she asked if I wanted the offer or not. I told her Three would never call from a landline or a Leeds number, and she just shrugged and hung up. Looks like a total con to me!

Got a call from 01135345947 on the 21st of Nov 2023 but didn’t pick up. Seems a bit dodgy, probably scammers. I’d say best to just ignore it.
