Got a call from someone claiming to be Sky about renewing my Sky Protection and said I could get a 10% discount. When they asked for my card info, I told them to email me directly from Sky because I don’t share my card details with random calls.

This number called me twice at different times. They said something about giving me 40% off my phone charges and then tried asking about my latest bill. I wasn’t having it and confronted them a bit, then the caller suddenly started saying "shut up" over and over and then just hung up. Definitely feels like a scam to me and should be looked into.

Likely a dodgy number, I reckon. They tried calling me six times consecutively without dropping a voicemail. Quite suspicious, if you ask me!

Got a call from an Indian lady claiming to be from my network provider. I asked her which network it was, and she said Vodafone, but I’m not even with them! She then went on about covering all the major networks and tried to sell me a cheaper plan with a new phone. Didn’t sound right to me at all!

Just got a call from a young woman from India claiming there was some sort of problem with my phone bill. Sounded like one of those scams to me.

Looks like a total rip-off to me.

They called but dropped the line before I could pick up, so I looked it up here and yep, definitely sounded dodgy. Probably linked to some other number around the same digits. When I answered the next time, there was this woman with an accent from a noisy call centre, saying something about “payment protection” and “your life insurance policy” - non stop jabbering! I just let her go on by herself then went back to bed, still could hear her chat through the walls. Bit funny really.

Got a call from some guy with an Indian accent, claiming he was from mobile billing, then suddenly corrected himself to voccamone or something. He rang my old phone number which I just keep as a backup. After about 10 minutes on the phone, he said I was too daft to get scammed... what a stupid f##ing bloke. I just kept saying, “I’m no mug, I’m no fool, but you really sound daft.” Loved messing about and wasting his time. By the way, I’ve got a PhD in computer science, so don’t try any tricks on me!

I got a call from a really loud call centre, the person said they were with O2 and that they could give me 40% off my next bill. Then they went on and asked how much my last bill was. I told them they should have that info already and just ended the call.
