I picked up when this number rang but they didn’t say anything.

Got a bloke on the phone saying he was from Currys. I don't have any appliances with them or any business to discuss, so I just hung up straight away.

Got a call from someone saying they were with EE (which I also use). She kept calling me 'Madam' and was trying to sell me some kind of discount on the same network. She wanted to know my current monthly bill. I told her the amount and said she should already have that info since she claimed to be from EE. Then she just ended the call. Definitely a SCAM.

Total rip off! Someone rang me pretending to be from ee, saying I could get half off my phone bill. But then they asked me how much I was paying monthly, even tho I’m already an ee customer. It’s so obvious this is a huge scam. They should shut it down before more people get caught out!

I received a rather dubious call from someone claiming to represent EE, the very network I’m subscribed to. They insisted they could slash my monthly bill by a whopping 50%, which immediately raised my suspicions. Normally, when I receive calls from EE, my caller ID confirms it, but this time, there was no such indication. The caller asked about my current monthly payment, which struck me as odd-surely, if they were genuinely from EE, they would have that information at their fingertips? When I pointed this out, they promptly ended the call. It feels like a blatant scam, likely aimed at fishing for my personal details or card information. Do be cautious!
