2 yearsGot a call from 01135343314 around 11.37pm, just went straight to answerphone and they didn’t leave a message before hanging up. Checked the number after and saw it’s linked to Leeds and loads of people have flagged it as a scam. Definitely dodgy.Leeds2 yearsGot a call late at night, about 11.37 pm, but it went straight to voicemail and whoever was calling just hung up after that. I checked out the number, it’s got a Leeds area code, and loads of people have said it’s a scam. Definitely dodgy.Leeds2 yearsI got a phone call from this number earlier, but as soon as I picked up, they just ended the call.2 yearsGot a call from a number I didn’t recognise with the 01135 code, turns out it was a scam. It’s actually the third time today I’ve had calls from different numbers all starting the same way. They hung up as soon as my answerphone started. Proper annoying!2 yearsI just said hello and stayed quiet, then they went and hung up on me. That’s my go-to move usually.2 yearsEven though I’m on the TPS list, they rang me anyway. I let my answerphone pick it up and as soon as it started, they hung up. I’ve gone ahead and blocked the number now.Telephone Preference Service2 yearsGot a call from UK housing saying my borough council had shared my info after I reported some damage to my home. Thought I’d be dealing directly with my insurers for that sort of thing. Sounds like yet another scam, probably from somewhere in Asia.Asia2 yearsI answered the call, and right away some robotic voice told me I'd been removed from a conference. Someone had warned me beforehand that this was a dodgy number.2 yearsI received a call out of the blue, and I wasn't expecting it at all.2 yearsSome bloke rang me asking if my house was damaged, but I’d already read about these dodgy scams. Told him straight up it was a con and hung up. Definitely don’t trust calls like that.2 yearsGot a dodgy call from someone claiming they were with Brent Council. Total scam, so watch out!Brent Council2 yearsGot a call from some company saying they were from a property services firm and wanted to know about damages to our place. We never told anyone anything was wrong though! Definitely felt like a scam to me, so I just ended the call quickly.2 yearsIt was those scammers again, ringing up pretending they wanted to help me get compensation for damage to my house. What a joke!2 yearsGot a call from someone who asked weird questions about my home right off the bat. Honestly, if you don’t know who’s calling, don’t bother answering. This was clearly a scam attempt. I just blocked them straight away.2 yearsGot a couple calls like that earlier today, first one claimed £700 was taken out of my visa debit card, the second time I just ended the call straight away.2 yearsThis must be a dodgy housing scam. They just seem to be calling out of the blue using random numbers. I’ve never given anyone my number and nobody I know uses it either.2 yearsReceived a call from a woman claiming she was from UK Housing, saying there was damage reported on my property. I denied it straight away. She kept insisting someone had contacted her about it, so I asked for a name, a phone number, or an email to check it out. Knowing these scams run around, I told her not to bother calling again and hung up. Just a heads up for everyone - if you get called about any damage you didn’t report, always ask for proof or who made the report. Their reaction will usually give it away. Stay alert and safe out there!UK Housing2 yearsGot a call out of the blue from someone trying to sell home repairs, stuff like mould and fixing up after the recent storm. Felt like a typical cold call.2 yearsGot a call on my work phone, which I never use to sign up anywhere. The person on the line was asking if I've got any issues like flooding, mould, or wind damage at my place. I had to tell them it's a business number and clearly they've got my details from somewhere they shouldn't.2 yearsHad a call from someone with a foreign accent, they were asking if I had any mould, damp or damage in the house. When I replied no, they just ended the call straight away. Bit strange if you ask me.2 yearsThis morning, I had a call from this number. A gentleman with a thick accent inquired whether we were experiencing any issues in our home, such as damage or mould. I told him quite firmly that we don’t conduct any business over the phone and promptly hung up.2 yearsI got a call on my landline saying there was a £900 charge on my Visa, told me to press 1 if I didn’t make the purchase. I was certain it was a con since there’s no way I have £900 on my card. Still, they keep ringing me over and over.2 yearsGot a ring from a number I don’t recognise just before 9 in the morning on the 18th of January 2024. Seems like it could be some sort of scam.2 yearsI picked up the phone and the person just ended the call straight away... guess that means I'm now on their actual contact list!2 yearsI keep getting calls from this number asking if my house has any mould, damp or other issues. It feels like some sort of scam to me. Does anyone know how to make them stop ringing? It's really annoying.2 yearsTried answering but the line just cut out on the other side… can’t believe it’s happened again this week, second time now!2 yearsGot a call today from 01135343314, a bloke with a strong accent that wasn’t British at all. He said he was with some housing group and started asking if I’d had any damage to my house. I told him I was actually homeless and living on the streets. Of course, I’m not, but since I’m in London, any call like that would come from a local number, not this one. He paused for a bit then just hung up. It’s clear these lot are less about helping and more about messing with your head and your money. My advice? Just block them and report the number.London2 yearsThis number rang me earlier but I ignored it right away since it looked dodgy. I’m signed up with the TPS list, so I don’t usually get bothered by these calls. Really grateful for this site though, it’s helped me steer clear of a bunch of scammy nonsense. Cheers!TPS2 yearsI keep receiving phone calls regarding a debt that doesn't belong to me at all. It's becoming quite bothersome!2 yearsIp Voice Network Ltd, I have no idea who even issues these numbers. Seems like they just hand out phone numbers mostly to scammers so they can trick folks. They provide either landline or mobile numbers, and then they also give out a whole list of live numbers to ring. So basically, if someone calls you from a VoIP number that comes from these sellers, it means you’re on their targeted calling list.IP Voice Network Limited2 yearsThis was a complete con, pretending to handle a bank PPI claim, claiming I’d been compensated £2550 plus an extra £1550 interest. When they asked which bank I used, I made up "Bank of Paris" - doesn’t even exist - and they had no clue. They then provided some sort of reference and ID numbers, insisting they never ask for card or bank info. Apparently, the money was stuck in some ‘wallet’. After that, they put me through to another guy with an Asian accent, who requested the ID and reference numbers. I gave him fake ones, and the chat went on from there.Bank of Paris2 yearsNexbridge Communications Limited is a joke company that deals in phone numbers, mostly handing them over to scammers. They basically sell landline or mobile numbers and give out lists of numbers that are live and can be used for cold calling. So if you receive a call from a VoIP number linked to them, you're definitely on one of these call lists. I honestly wouldn't trust any number from them.Nexbridge Communications Limited2 yearsTotally looks like one of those bank fraud scams to me.2 yearsA person called saying they were from Amazon and said they were checking up on an iPhone order I never placed.Amazon2 yearsYeah, this is a total scam, they try to lure you in by talking about a “discount on your existing plan” and then suddenly want your personal info and payment details. Best thing is to just hang up straight away and call your actual provider yourself, but make sure to use another phone. The crooks sometimes keep listening on the line even after you hang up, waiting for you to call your real provider so they can fake being them. So be careful!2 yearsI got a call from someone saying they were from a phone company that was joining forces with my current provider. They asked for my info to ‘transfer’ my service. Total rubbish. Definitely a dodgy scam.2 yearsNo voicemail or anything, so I just blocked the number and reported it as a scam. Looks dodgy to me.2 yearsGot a call from some Asian number again, best thing is to just not pick up. If you want to report it, text the number 7726 and they’ll deactivate the caller’s line. Don’t waste your time!2 yearsGot two calls from a number I didn't recognise today. These days, I just assume unknown calls are dodgy and don’t answer or return them. If it's important, they’ll leave a voicemail. If you get suspicious texts, send them to 7726 to report.2 yearsDon’t fall for these calls, especially from people claiming to be from some company - they’re just trying to steal your bank info. They’re always hiding who they really are and there’s no legit business behind it. If you just ignore calls like these, they won’t be able to scam you out of your money. And if the number’s from +44, it’s usually not a real person but some automated machine. Make sure to report these scams to phishing.gov.uk, and you can also text DALL to 7726 to help warn others.2 yearsI ended up blocking the number and letting the call go through to voicemail, guess I had a feeling it wasn't a good one.2 yearsGot a call from some mystery number telling me £900 had been taken from my bank and to "press one for help." I double-checked my account, and there was no such transaction at all. Totally made up! I've blocked the number and reported it. Watch out - these scammers are everywhere!2 yearsTotally a scam, watch out! This is just another scam attempt, nothing genuine. Be careful!2 yearsI got a call from some internet number, looked like it came from India or Pakistan. It was definitely a scam pretending to be the bank. I just blocked it and reported by texting the number 7726. Better to be safe!IndiaPakistan2 yearsThey rang me a few times but never left any voicemail or anything.2 yearsThey ring me like six times a day, every single day! At first, it’s some automated voice, then out of nowhere, a real person starts talking about debts and what I owe.
