It's pretty obvious that these people aren't being truthful about their identity. They came across as dodgy, if I'm honest. Claimed to be ringing on behalf of Sky, but I definitely wasn’t convinced by their story.

I received a call from someone claiming to be from the O2 phone service.

I received a call from someone claiming to be from O2, stating that I was eligible for a 40% reduction on my bill. The only problem? I’m not an O2 customer! When I began to probe for more details, they abruptly ended the call. Quite suspicious if you ask me!

You could string them along and see how long they keep up the act with you-just make sure you don't reveal any personal details! In the end, you can drop the bomb that you’ve been onto their little scheme from the very start. Trust me, you’re bound to get some cheeky responses, and I can guarantee they’ll cut the call when they’ve had enough of your banter! It’s all in good fun, really!

It's astonishing how many discussions there are online regarding this number. This chap, who goes by 'Ali', claims to be from O2 and is peddling a 40% discount alongside an upgrade. He appears to be using the same scheme to trick unsuspecting O2 users. The number in question is 44 113 534 2950. Seriously, why hasn’t O2 taken any action regarding this? It’s as if O2 is turning a blind eye, indirectly supporting these nefarious individuals and sharing in the blame!
