Got a text from 07562460861 claiming to be Barclays, saying there was a Tesco purchase of £248 with an OTP included. It was a scam trying to fool me, asking to ring them if I didn’t recognise it. Definitely some kinda bank fraud attempt.

Absolutely awful experience. The bloke said he was with 02 but when I asked what he was on about, he paused like he was checking my number, then realised I’m not with 02. After that, he called me a "brother trucker" - let’s just say it wasn’t exactly polite! You can guess what words he used.

Got a call from this number on 31st August 2023, claiming to be some debt help service. They said I owe about £7500 and suggested paying £100 each month. I asked, "Is that true? You tell me, you’re the one calling." Then they just cut the call. Pretty obvious scam if you ask me. The caller had a strong Asian accent and the number wasn’t hidden. Do these scammers ever take a break? Seems like they never stop pestering.

Got a call from 01135342432, someone said they were from 02 and tried to offer me a discount. The accent was definitely foreign. When I started asking questions, they didn’t seem too pleased and just ended the call. Pretty fishy if you ask me.

I got a call from someone saying they were with O2. When I told them to take me off their list, they just cut the call. I ended up sending a text with the word ‘call’ to 7726. They replied back and asked for the number to sort it out with O2.

Got a call from an Asian woman claiming to be from Royal Mail, saying they couldn’t deliver a parcel. She mentioned the sender, which was a firm I was familiar with. She asked me to log into a link, but when I couldn’t access it, I started getting suspicious. As soon as I asked a few questions, she just hung up on me.

The guy on the phone said his name was Michael right off the bat, which sounded dodgy to me. I didn’t bother listening any longer and just ended the call. When they start off with lies, you know it’s probably some kind of scam from a call centre overseas, most likely India.

Got a call from a guy with an Asian accent claiming he was with O2. He asked if I’d received any texts about special deals. When I said no, he said he’d send one through. I told him not to bother as it sounded like a scam to me. I was surprisingly nice about it too - usually I just tell them to get lost!

Just got a ring from a woman speaking with a really thick Asian accent, saying she was from O2 and trying to sell me a better deal on a contract. Thing is, I’m not even with O2, so it was pretty obvious it was some kind of scam. I hung up straight away and have blocked the number since.
