3 yearsI received a call from this number, and it seemed they were trying to fish for my banking information! Please watch out, everyone! My phone flagged the number as a potential scam as well. I chose to put a stop to it and blocked the caller!3 yearsI struggled loads to catch what he was saying, but in the end worked out he was from Currys or something like that, offering 30% off my phone bill. After a lot more struggling to get what he was on about, I just told him I wasn’t keen and he ended the call. Definitely would not trust him at all. Number’s blocked now.CurrysPC World3 yearsThis is definitely a scam. If you get calls like this, you should report them straight to the police so they can handle it properly. There’s a dedicated system for it - just search for ‘action fraud’ and you’ll find the official UK police website. On there, you’ll see a phishing reporting section. Scroll down right to the end and you can fill in a quick form, no need to sign up or anything. Make sure to describe any threats or nasty words they used in the free text box at the bottom, along with ticking the checkboxes. It’s quick and helps keep everyone safer.UK3 yearsGot a ring but I was holding my phone the whole time, so I reckon they were just testing if my number was active. Put them straight on the block.3 yearsGot a call from some scammer, they just said hello and then went completely quiet. Seemed like they were trying to see if my number is in use.
