Got a call from some bloke with a funny accent claiming he was from EE. Problem is, I don’t even use EE as my provider. Pretty sure it was a scam.

Got a call from 01135341940 but they didn’t say a word or leave any message. My phone flagged it as a scam right away.

I received a call from someone claiming to be from EE, suggesting that they had a fantastic deal lined up for me, given my impeccable payment history as a customer. The amusing part? I don’t even have an account with EE!

I screened the call and as soon as I answered they just hung up right away. Then I tried ringing the number back but it said the number isn’t recognised and doesn’t exist. Definitely one of those scam calls. I’ve blocked it now and reported it as suspicious.

Got a call from a guy with an Asian accent saying he was calling on behalf of EE. He said since i've been a loyal customer, i qualify for a 30% discount on my electric bill. He kept asking how much i pay on my electricity each month. I told him to prove he was really with EE by telling me my exact bill amount, but he couldn't. Then he accused me of not proving i was an EE customer and just dropped the call.

I received a call from EE, or so they claimed, saying something about a discount deal. However, as soon as I mentioned that I'm not an EE customer, they abruptly ended the conversation. Quite rude, if you ask me!
