The call lasted around 10 seconds, but there was no one speaking, just silence. Then a robotic voice came on for a moment before they cut off. Sounds like one of those automated bots trying to check if the number is live so they can probably peddle it to others.

I reckon this was a spam call. They said it was Vodafone offering some deal on a new phone or sim card. I just said I’m fine with my current one. Feels dodgy to me. Normally, scam calls have a bit of a delay when you answer, and this one had that too.

Got a ring on a bank holiday Monday, felt a bit dodgy to me.

I picked up and the man on the other end spoke with a really thick accent, claiming to be from "Vodafone Network." I asked him how I could verify he was really with Vodafone, and he just ended the call straight away. Feels like it was a scam to me.
