I never pick up if I don’t know the number, and when this one just got the answerphone, they quickly ended the call.

Got a call from 01135265101, which was marked as possible spam. I had actually blocked this number ages ago, so not sure why it popped up again. Anyway, I’ve reported it and blocked it once more - better safe than sorry!

Got a call from a woman with an Indian accent claiming she was ringing from O2 regarding my contract, but I’m not even a customer. When I asked her to take me off their call list and ended the chat, she kept pushing for a callback time. I told her I’d ring O2 myself to double check and have a proper chat about any offers when I’m not tied up at work - didn’t seem to go down well. Weirdly enough, the same lady phoned a London number of mine a couple of hours earlier too.

My iPhone flagged this caller ID as a possible scam. Looking through the comments, it seems like it’s definitely not safe. Best steer clear of this number and just contact your phone provider straight away.

Got a call from a woman who had an accent, said it was about my 02 contract. I told her she sounded like a scammer and ended the call straight away. Watch out for these sorts of calls.

Got a call from someone pretending to be O2 offering me an unbelievable deal, totally seemed like a scam to me.

Got a phonecall from someone claiming to be O2, telling me my SIM was about to get blocked but not to panic as they'd send out a replacement. Then the lady tried to get me to confirm my email, but I told her I wasn’t comfortable with that and asked her to give me my own address first so I could check. Then, suddenly, she just hung up on me.

Had a laugh with these lot from O2 earlier. Tried to tell me they’d block my number but promised a new sim with 40% off my bill for a year… then asked for my email. So I gave them go fuc k urself @hotmail and the lady put me through to her manager who told me to shove a stick up my partner’s bum hole 😂. Keep them on the line as long as possible, might stop someone else getting scammed! Next time I reckon I’ll give them ilo vespa mmer@ gmail or something!

I rang my dad but as soon as I began talking, they hung up straight away. He’s not great with English either, so maybe that’s why.

I got a call from a Leeds number but since it showed up as ‘possible spam’ I didn’t answer. Felt a bit odd getting a call from there so I’ve gone ahead and blocked it and flagged it as spam now.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from EE offering me some 40% discount. I told them I’d report the call to the TPS for making unsolicited calls. The bloke, with a really strong foreign accent, insisted his name was Mark, but honestly, his English was so bad I could barely understand a word!

Classic scam right there. Pretending to be from EE, but it’s all fake. Best thing to do is just end the call and block the number straight away.

Got a call from someone sayin they were my phone company but when I asked them who exactly my provider was, they had no clue. The line was awful and the caller had a heavy accent. I just told them it was pathetic, told em to do better, then hung up. 😂☺️

Got a call from someone saying he's Daniel and works for O2. He was trying to convince me my contract needed renewing, but I don’t even use O2 as my network. Felt like a total scam.

Got a call today from a lady with a Chinese accent saying she was from O2 and had some discounts for me. But when I asked why I’d even get a discount since I’m not on any O2 contract, she couldn’t really give me a straight answer. Feels a bit dodgy to me.

Some bloke rang up saying he was from EE, trying to give me a discount on my bill. He couldn't really prove he was with them though. When I told him I wasn't interested and seen through the trick, he just dropped the call.

Someone rang me saying they were from O2 and wanted my opinion on their service. When I said it sounded like a scam, they got quite rude about it.

Somebody rang me saying they were from EE, telling me I was already on a contract with them. Then they offered a deal on a brand new iPhone 16 Pro for £15 a month over 24 months. But, there was this supposed £30 security fee to pay straight away, which they said they'd give back once the phone arrived. Honestly, felt like a proper dodgy scam, one of the worst I’ve come across.
