8/2/24 14:20 Got a call just now, I picked up and said my normal 'hello' and a lady asked 'can you hear me?', I said 'yeah'. After that, she didn’t say a thing. I stayed on the line listening for a while before she eventually hung up. I’ve blocked the number now (though it’s an IP one, so I guess they can switch it up easily).

The caller hung up straight away, probably didn’t want their ears ruined if it was the same muppets. Who even knows anymore! Just got a call from a woman claiming to be from a solar power firm, saying I qualified for some renewable energy scheme. I asked how they got my number since I’m ex-directory. She just said I was on some list of contacts. I told her again it couldn’t be true, given I’m ex-directory. She apologised and hung up. I’m registered with TPS too. She never asked for me by name, so I reckon it was just random number dialling. I never answer calls by saying my name or number anyway.

Asked me how old my driveway was. I told him about 500 years old. He sounded a bit taken aback and pretty quickly ended the call. Another dodgy call.
